Robert Daniels was admitted as a Solicitor in December 1978. After working in London for several years he joined the firm in December 1985 and became a partner in 1988. He has extensive experience and expertise in the fields of residential and commercial conveyancing including sales and purchase of businesses. He also carries out some general non-contentious work together with the preparation of Wills and probate work.

John Trull is a partner who qualified as a solicitor in 1980. He has worked for Hattens for over twenty five years and has been a partner for some twenty years. He has a wide knowledge of the local area and specialises in residential and commercial conveyancing. He also deals with commercial contracts and Company work including acquisitions. He has a wide Probate practice and is a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, dealing with the preparation and completion of Wills and other matters relating to Estate Planning and Inheritance Tax. David Lander is a Licensed Conveyancer who has practised in Thurrock for over thirty years with a wide knowledge of local businesses. He was originally a General Practitioner but now specialises in residential conveyancing, estate development, commercial conveyancing, commercial contracts and Company work including acquisitions.

Samantha Lynch is a Solicitor and one of the partners in the Family Department. She is also a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association). Samantha has been practising in the field of family law for a number of years and has a broad knowledge of all areas of the specialism. . She worked at a London practice for a number of years before coming to the firm and has a wide knowledge of family work from resolving disputes relating to children to resolving financial issues between co-habitees.
She has wide experience in relation to the financial matters stemming from divorce and is also the firm’s Welfare Benefits Advisor. Samantha undertakes works relating to all areas of family breakdown both for married couples and for co-habitees.

Louise Margiotta qualified as a solicitor in 1996 and is a partner of the firm. She has many years experience in advising on all aspects of family law.
Louise is a member of the Law Society’s Accredited Family Law Panel and is also a member of Resolution who promote a constructive and non-confrontational approach to family breakdown. Her current practice includes divorce, disputes relating to children and in particular financial issues arising from separation for both married and unmarried families.

Kate Boothroyd ... Kate Boothroyd qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and specialises in Private Client matters. Her work ranges from Will, Probate and Powers of Attorney to Residential conveyancing and specialist Land Registry matters. Kate has recently obtained a Diploma in Land Registration Law and Practice and is now studying for the STEP (Society of Trusts and Estate Practioners) Diploma.Kate is approachable and particularly adept in putting elderly client’s minds at rest regarding their legal affairs and is happy to offer home and hospital visits if required. She is also a Full Professional member of Solicitors for the Elderly.

Katie Ross is a qualified Solicitor and specialises in all areas of family, children law and civil litigation. She is able to advise on all aspects of divorce and cohabitation law and issues surrounding the breakdown of a relationship, including financial disputes. She represents parents in private Children Act disputes in relation to contact and residence applications and also represents victims of domestic violence in securing injunctions. Katie has particular expertise in cases where there are issues of alcohol abuse, drug abuse, mental health issues and domestic violence. In respect of her civil practice, Katie regularly represents individuals in connection with civil actions including breach of contract, employment issues, debt claims and consumer issues. Katie is a member of Resolution (formerly The Solicitors Family Law Association) and the South Essex Junior Lawyers Division.

Keith Glenny was admitted as a Solicitor in October 1970. After working in the City of London and subsequently for two years in industry he joined the firm in 1972 and became a partner in 1974, senior partner in 1988. Keith is a consultant and can be contacted through the Grays office.
Keith holds an MA and LLB in law from Cambridge University and a Diploma in European Law from Kings College, London. He is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
